LifeCare.ID® member terms

Version 2026-09-07. Last updated 7 September 2026. You accept these terms when you create your identifier, and the version above is recorded against it.

These are the terms for holding a LifeCare.ID®. Read them with the privacy notice, which lists exactly what we hold about you, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.

Who we are

LifeCare.ID® is operated by Enbarca Inc., a Florida corporation in the United States, doing business as HCVC.net ("we", "us"). Three roles run this network. They are named separately because a role can move to another company later.

If a role moves to a successor or affiliated company, the promises in these terms travel with it, and we tell members when it happens.

What LifeCare.ID® is

An identity and permission service. It gives you an identifier, binds it to a passkey your own device holds, records what you permit and what you withdraw, and keeps a map of what data exists about you and who holds it. It holds no health data. It is not a health record, not a clinic, not medical advice, and not a diagnosis. Decisions about your care stay with you and your clinician.

Who can hold one

You must be 18 or older. You confirm that when you create your identifier.

Your key, your responsibility

Your device holds the private key. We only ever see the public half of it. Nobody, including us, can act as you without your passkey, so keep your device and its screen lock secure. You are responsible for activity under your identifier.

Recovery by e-mail

If you give a recovery e-mail address, it is the way back in when you lose your device. We send a one-time link that lets you bind a new passkey to the same identifier, and the old passkey stops working. Whoever controls that mailbox can therefore recover your account. Recovery approved by a provider, where a practice confirms it is you and no mailbox is involved, is the production design.

How permission works

Every grant names a scope and a purpose and has an end date. You can withdraw one at any time from your app. The token dies in under half a second, and the withdrawal is published in the public revocation registry, so a holder that checks the registry sees it too. Every grant, every use and every withdrawal is written into your permission diary, which you can read at any time.

Software, not a person

Any guardian or assistant you talk to on this network is software, not a person, and the app you are talking to tells you so.

Closing your account

Write to hello@lifecare.id and we retire your identifier and unbind your passkey, so nothing can act as you and no new permission can be granted. Your permission diary and your resource registry stay as a record of what was permitted and what was withdrawn. Those entries carry no health values, only identifiers, dates, scopes and purposes. Health data itself is erased by the node that holds it, on your request to that node. A full account closure procedure, one that states exactly what is erased, what is kept, for how long, and how you get proof of it, is still being designed and is on the list for our counsel review.

What we can and cannot promise

The service is early and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features change, break, and are removed, and the service may pause. Its outputs, and those of any app on it, can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Treat them as one input among several, and check anything that matters with your clinician.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Enbarca Inc. (doing business as HCVC.net) for any claim arising from LifeCare.ID®, whether the loss is direct, indirect, or consequential, is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. Some laws do not allow parts of this limitation: nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law, for example liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury where such exclusions are not permitted.

Changes and versions

We may update these terms as the service matures. Each version carries the date at the top of this page, and the version you accepted is recorded against your identifier at the moment you accept it. For material changes we ask you to accept the new version, and we say what changed. These terms are subject to legal review and changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
